About heatpumpinstallation.ie
Last updated 12 October 2026
We help Irish homeowners get a heat pump without the guesswork: what it will cost your home, how much of the €14,500 SEAI grant you can get, and free quotes from up to 2 SEAI-registered installers in your county.
What we do for you
- Your cost in 30 seconds. Tell us about your home and see the installed price, your grant and what you'd pay, before you speak to anyone.
- Installers who can get you the grant. We only pass your request to installers registered with SEAI for heat pumps and working in your county, because the grant is only paid when a registered installer does the work.
- No chasing. You fill in one short form. The installers call you to arrange a survey and a quote.
- Free, no obligation. You don't pay us anything, and you don't have to accept any quote.
Why we built it
Heat pump prices online are scattered and often out of date, and the grant changed more than once in 2026. Most homeowners end up ringing round installers just to find out whether a heat pump makes sense for them. We put the numbers in one place so you know where you stand first, then connect you with installers who can do the job.
How we keep the figures right
- Every figure has a source. Grant amounts and rules come from SEAI; heating and housing statistics from the CSO; fuel prices from SEAI's Domestic Fuel Cost Comparison; heat pump efficiency and noise from the EU energy label database (EPREL).
- Every figure has a date. The "Checked" stamp beside a figure shows when we last checked it, and each page lists its sources.
- We re-check monthly, and update grant figures as soon as SEAI announces a change.
